Occupational TherapyOccupational Therapy teaches children how to be as independent as possible in their daily activities. The primary focus is on helping children develop the abilities necessary for play, self-care, learning, school performance, community skills and socializing. This therapy centers on self regulation, sensory processing, and pays specific attention to the activities, fine motor skills, coordination and strength exercises needed to complete routines of daily living, and is accomplished by building on the child’s core strength. Our occupational therapist will take the child through a pre-planned session of physical exercises focused on play and fun.
